I am afraid of doing root canal treatment. |
Dentistry has changed a lot in recent days. Most of the treatments can be done painlessly and Root Canal Treatment (RCT) is one of them. Piercing injection at the beginning of the treatment is the only painful experience (and it’s like an ant bite only) that one feels during the whole procedure. Root canal treated teeth become brittle over time and tends to get fractured. If one has very hard bite, then the chances of fractures and loss of fillings are more likely. For protection against such damages, it is advisable to put a crown over the RCT treated tooth.
