New Programme Meet the Artists Due to an unfortunate incident (serial blasts in Kathmandu), many of our
guests could not make it to the opening of the exhibition on September
2, 2007. On request of many of our visitors we are putting up a session
again where people will have the opportunity to interact with the artists. Event Timing

Come the festival season, we are reminded of the energy, colours, fun and life we share during the occasions. This time, Gallery 32@Dent Inn has collected some works from our artists Herbert and Pradip that reflect the Nepalese festivals and culture that we are so proud of.
Festivals are not only occasions, but it is the mood that they carry and the mazza (fun) they bring into our lives, that make them so precious in our lives. Nepalese culture is full of these heart rejoicing festivals which are portrayed in our collection.
Herbert's images portray colour, motion and vibrancy of these festivals. He has been able to capture the most beautiful moments from one of such festivities in Bhaktapur and compile them for you.
Pradip's brings the spirit of the festivals in his works exhibited. He involves people, crowd, music and colours to impart the dynamics associated with these festivals. His paintings are experiences rather than just images.

Herbert Grammatikopoulos
Photographer Born in 1958 in Austria, Herbert graduated in Study of Cultural Science and Ethnology at the University of Tuebingen, Germany with a Master of Arts in 1995. A self-taught photographer since 1975, he has been photographing the culture and heritage of Nepal since his stay here.
His works were published in Daily Express (GB), Woman Magazine (GB), Nepali Times, UNESCO, Palpa Cham. He has also been a part of many group exhibitions including Khulla Dhoka Project 2006, Sutra Art Group 2006 in Nepal and Bells -Silence and Sounds.
His solo exhibitions in Nepal were held at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Café Mitra, Dan Ran Restaurant, Patan, et al. Pradip K Bajracharya
Artist Born in 1971, Pradip grew up within the festivals of Kathmandu Valley. After completing his Bachelors in Fine Arts, he was inspired by such festivals to portray them in his works.
He participated in many group exhibitions in Nepal, USA, Belgium, Holland, Sri Lanka, India, Japan and Korea. He has also exhibited successful solo exhibitions at Siddhartha Art Gallery and Buddha Gallery in Nepal.
He has won many art awards including 2nd Prize at 33rd National Art Exhibition in 2002 and 1st Prize from Camlin Art Foundation, India in 2005. He is also a founding member of the renowned Kasthamandap Art Studio and a very inspiring art teacher.
